Homemade Chai Latte

Hello Gorgeous!
Welcome to my blog! Lately, I have been obsessed with buying chai lattes at local coffee shops, but let’s be honest it gets expensive and pointless if you can make it at home for a more affordable price. I set out to experiment several homemade chai latte recipes. After weeks of research and experimenting I came up with the perfect recipe. Since it is summer you might not want to drink it hot, instead once you finish the recipe you can put it over ice and stick it in the fridge. I hope you become as obsessed as I’m with chai lattes! Enjoy!
-2 cups of boiling hot water
-1 Chai tea bag
-1 ½ Tb of honey (or at least enough to cover the bottom of you mug)
-1tsp of Vanilla extract
-2 Tb of Cream (I use heavy cream, whatever your preference)
-1 tsp of cinnamon (or to preference)
-2 cups of boiling hot water
-1 Chai tea bag
-1 ½ Tb of honey (or at least enough to cover the bottom of you mug)
-1tsp of Vanilla extract

3. While the water is boiling pour the honey into the bottom of the mug till it covers the bottom of the mug (or to preference) and heat up the cream in a small bowl and place in the microwave for 25 seconds (keep an eye on it and once it starts boiling, you can stop heating it.)

4. Pour the vanilla into the small bowl with the cream.

5. Once the water is done boiling pour it into the mug and stir. Make sure the honey dissolves into the water.
